Set up the workspace
Sign in, complete on-chain setup, and confirm the network before taking money.
Sign in with a wallet
Khaata has no password. Sign in by connecting a Phantom-compatible Solana wallet in the browser and signing a plain-text message that names the site, your wallet, and a single-use code. Signing proves you control the wallet; it never moves funds and never exposes your keys.
- The sign-in code expires after 10 minutes. Reload the page and sign again if it lapses.
- A successful sign-in lasts 7 days on that browser. Sign out to end it immediately.
- The wallet you sign in with is your identity. Use the same wallet every time.
Finish on-chain setup
Onboarding creates the workspace, then asks the owner wallet to sign one transaction that registers the merchant account and authorizes Khaata to issue invoices for it. Keep a small amount of SOL (about 0.01) in the owner wallet to cover the account rent and network fee.
- Until that transaction confirms, Khaata returns you to onboarding and new orders are refused.
- If the wallet broadcast succeeded but the screen is still confirming, wait a few seconds and retry — Khaata verifies the account on-chain rather than trusting the browser.
- Choosing a business type is optional. It seeds a starter catalog and picks your landing page; skipping lands you on Today.
Confirm the network and fee
Each deployment is pinned to one Solana network, shown in the sidebar and on the sign-in screen. Orders, signatures, explorer links, USDC mints, and API keys are all specific to that network, so the paying wallet must be on the same one. The platform fee is a property of the on-chain merchant account rather than a dashboard setting: it is shown under Settings, Fees, deducted at settlement, and cannot be changed from the dashboard.
